Your donations are needed!

Some people think that nonprofit charities get everything they need for free. Or that the government pays for the services provided.

Nope. Not true.

A nonprofit charity is just like any other business. The difference is that nonprofits do not pay most taxes and that donations you make to the charity are tax-deductible.

2009 Annual Appeal

How will your donation help?

Here are examples...

$150 will cover the cost of one Seizure Recognition & First Aid Training session at one school so the nurses and teachers can recognize early warning signs and provide the proper care for children with epilepsy.

$175 will cover the cost of one Healthy Brain Workshop for early intervention training so new parents can obtain help for their child as quickly as possible to help reduce the effects of seizures.

$180 will cover the cost of one Teen Club meeting for teens with epilepsy.

$193 will cover the cost of childcare at one support group meeting so parents can obtain needed information to help their child.

$250 will cover the cost of holding one monthly educational and support meeting for Adults with Epilepsy.

$537 will cover the cost of one monthly Parent Group meeting.
